Responsibilities

Xx is seeking a Technical Writer who, under the direction of the Documentation Manager, will extract, understand, and interpret design specifications, test scenarios, and other technical documents, and will communicate that information to the user. Candidates must possess attention to detail and be able to critically view documentation for content and format.

The Technical Writer will be a member of a small but dynamic team responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining base software product training workbooks, user guides, online help, new functionality, customized training workbooks, and other user documentation for our suite of procurement software products.

Position might also include occasional editing and proofreading tasks. Must be willing and able to adhere to Documentation Team standards, and use Documentation Team templates, in accordance with the xx Corporate Style Guide.

Sales Executives (SEs) lead business development and sales initiatives for our highest-value, targeted clients and prospective clients. SEs build deep and trusted relationships with executives, stakeholders, and influencers in targeted client organizations. The SE is responsible for conceiving, communicating, evolving, and executing our business development strategy and execution at their assigned clients to realize, the maximum value each client receives from xxx over the life of our relationship with the client. The position requires a proven sales leader who brings ten plus years of technology sales experience with four to six years of senior sales experience in enterprise software, managed service or a professional services environment with a consistent track record of exceeding annual quotas in excess of $2M.

The candidate must have experience presenting and interacting with executive level Federal industry leaders and developing strong relationships with integrators and potential partners in the space. A working knowledge of programs and initiatives in the Federal market is key as well as the ability to negotiate the complex government regulatory environment.

Candidates will have a demonstrated track record selling enterprise software (financial/accounting, HR, CRM, procurement, or related managed service solutions) to the public sector community direct and through partners. Depth of experience in targeted territories is critical (DOD, Civilian, Intel). A demonstrated knowledge of “solution selling” and strong team presentation skills are important.
